Chosen at a good Italian restaurant at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast off the Wine List. Chosen for the vintage - the producer unknown to me. Brief notes. Earthy with a deep black cherry note. Persistent but smooth tannins. Went well with a slow roasted shoulder of lamb with Pappardelle pasta. Celebrating the sale of our apartment held for over 21 years on the Gold Coast.
