There is a lot here for just $20. Chocolate and spice hits you first out of the bottle but then fades to a more subdued dark fruit and pepper combo. It’s dense and lush, lingers long, and finishes well. Like an old friend that comes to dinner and brings a long diverse conversation to the table.

Finesse and balance of the Rhone as advertised... good value

For under $20 and regularly available, enjoyed this.

Really enjoyed this with steak during my quarantine. Perhaps I had overloaded on Pinot noir but this has a lot of depth and character in the middle, before finishing nice and easy.

One my favorite go to Syrah. Blueberry with the syrah ending.

The color is deep ruby. Raspberry jam and citrus with soy and earthy undertone aromas are complemented by a brambly, subtle meaty character.
A smooth mouthfeel glides into a long silky finish with flavors of juicy blueberry, hints of
tobacco and subtle gamey undertones.

Fruity with great complexity, a great wine for the price

Average Syrah, fruit-forward aromas of dark berries and ripe plums but pretty rough palate. High acidity then slightly bitter finish.

Delish Syrah that’s fruity and balanced. Collaboration between Chateau St Michelle and Michael Gassier of France’s Rhône region. Tenet Wines. Worth seeking out.

Not a fruit bomb, but you won’t mistake this for a Rhône either. Had a lot of depth and intensity, but never overpowering. Black cherry and plum fruits are intertwined with herbaceous notes. The tannins are silky tannins, giving way to a powerful, peppery finish. Gets better with each sip.
