Oct 20th, 2019On opening, the nose was really interesting. Some definite barrel funk, pepper, spice, Cassis and cherry. After an hour or so the funk blew off and the fruit become more forward. An awesome palate, medium to full bodied, lots of black fruits. Amazingly long finish with plenty of tannin left to go another 5 years.
