Molasses, burnt caramel, brown sugar, maple syrup, toffee nuts, orange peel, dried apricots, marmalade, buttered toast, burnt brandied caramel and dried stone fruits. It's big, rich, high alcohol, thick, sweet and elegant. Good but certainly not their Scion but then again nothing else is. @Jory

JL Fladgate tasting 10/20/16. Nose is bit more nutty and oxidized. Palate is very balanced and supple and sweetness recedes into firm body. Finish short but complex and layered.
