Label promises smoke & tobacco but it’s just a hint on the nose. Still: nice fruit, just complex enough with the age, and a little mineral layer as well. Very nice.

Stewed rhubarb and cherry with violet and dried roses on the nose. Medium body with slightly tart cherry on the palate with more strawberry. Over time, plum notes dominate on nose and palate. Drink soon.

Good meritage blend from Niagara, but not quite as great as I remember it was in the tasting room. True sense of place, I guess!
