Jun 29th, 2015Beast. Inky. Almost pitch black. Sweet black currant liqueur. Not overly stewed or jammy. Acid gives this monster some lift. This isn't my style, but it is polished and balanced.

A big wine. Lots of smoke, mineral and earth scents. Intense but balanced and not showing a lot of ETOH. Chalky minerals, graphite and dark blue fruits on the palate. This has the stuffing to go at least ten more years.
