1985年に現当主アルベルト氏の父ルーチョ・タスカ・ダルメリータはシチリアで初めてシャルドネを導入することを決意。ブルゴーニュから苗を持ち込み、栽培に成功。一族成功の起爆剤となった。サン・フランチェスコと呼ばれるレガレアーリの歴史的な畑で栽培されるシャルドネを厳選して造っている。シチリアの土壌で栽培されるシャルドネ。
