Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Strong nose of red and black fruits with tobacco, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.

Full-bodied and soft with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black cherries, black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, earth, herbs and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This interesting red blend from Sierra Foothills is drinking very nicely now.

Spicy and tangy. Rich and fruit forward. Complex with a great and elegant mouthfeel.

This 7 year old is drinking at its peak now, and feels like a California Merlot.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes. I gave it a light chill and had it by the water. Really enjoyed the nose at this point.

I had this vintage 5 years ago, and it is so much better now. Worth the wait.

A blend of 48% Tempranillo, 39% Sangiovese and 13% Barbera. Only 725 cases were produced.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

On the nose, cherries, strawberries, light wood, earth, spices, herbs, light vegetables and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with black cherries, plums, black currants, coffee, oak, cloves, earth, vegetables, tobacco, graphite, spices and dark chocolates.

Medium length on the finish with fine tannins, chili powder and tangy cranberries.

This is a very interesting red wine from the Sierra Foothills in California. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

Red fruits on the nose and black fruits on the palate. Nice and engaging, tangy and spicy.

Needs time to open up properly. I decanted it for 45 minutes. Easy to drink, so watch out for the high alcohol.

Could use a few more years in the bottle to mature, and bring out more complexity.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

Light cherry, minerals and a little air to balance out the acidity. Tank does it again!
