Nice Bordeaux blend of 58 Cab, 27 Merlot, 8 Verdot and 7 Franc. Poured a slightly violet color into the glass. This wine has nose of grilled meat, blackberry and mature purple fruits. Smooth acidity and entry. The wine has a great middle with a hint of cola and mint but dominated by the ripe black fruits. Finishes with some velvety tannin, lots of good acidity and perfect balance. This facility in Calistoga is incredible!

2012 opened in 2015. Super tight for quite a while. Then the flavor changes by the moment. My favorite is the ribbon of panache - pure chocolate and buttercream without cheap milkiness.
