Part of a progression. This vineyard produced a really robust Zin. Dense pitted fruit, with jammy compliment.

Apr 29th, 2018Intense flavor--rich dark berries with prominent sweet spices that bring the holidays to mind--vanilla and cinnamon and nutmeg even. So the new oak is clear, but well blended. But it's almost like drinking a blackberry cobbler. Long finish of all that baked sweet goodness. Stops just shy of cloying.

Oct 10th, 2015Talty is such a unique Zinfandel. Perhaps in the same vein that Copain is to Syrah. I actually poured this in a Pinot Noir/Gamay glass. Dried lavendar and lilac along with freshly cut cedar balance a delicate, medium plus aroma. Great brambly fruit, french oak, and a thin but mouthwatering finish. Good minerality and acidity. Time in the glass adds peppery tones to the forefront. Good Juice!
