A big thanks to Chief Winemaker, Robert Heywood for this #freegift to enjoy this winter. This Taltarni Pyrenees 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon retails for $40 and was matured in both new and 15% new and seasoned French oak barriques for 14 months.
In the glass it’s a gorgeous plum red colour. On the nose it’s rather elegant with black fruits and earthiness coming through. Those juicy fruits flow through to the palate and join flavours of mocha and cherry cigars. A wonderfully balanced cab 🍷
