This is one of those wines that is impossible to stop at just one glass. Trust me!

Taltarni kindly sent me this sample bottle to taste recently and it’s safe to say we enjoyed every last drop.

This 2018 Reserve Shiraz (60%) Cabernet (40%) is drinking beautifully right now however it’s also going to age excellently if you have the patience. Taltarni members can purchase it online for $60 and it’s $75 for non-members.

Here are our notes:

It’s a deep red-mauve colour on the eye. On the nose it’s so alluring, think mixed berry jam, black olives, cedar wood and mocha. While in the mouth it has a super smooth texture and flavours that keep on giving. It really builds up as it travels through your mouth. It then ends with a juicy everlasting finish. So delicious!

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
