It’s bubbles season!! And oh boy there are some goodies available right now.

Including this Taltarni 2015 Brut Sparkling (thank you for the sample guys!).

It’s made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a touch of Pinot Meunier (2%). The grapes are sourced from their Victoria and Tassie vineyards and are blended. This $26 bottle scored 93 Points in the 2020 Australian Sparkling Wine Report (Tyson Stelzer) 🍾

In the glass it’s like morning sunshine ☀️(aka beautiful). On the nose it’s like a breath of fresh air with a whiff of almond croissants and a pretty citrus perfume. In the mouth it has an ultra smooth and creamy texture with juicy fresh flavours of Granny Smith apple 🍏 and lime zest. Refreshing and satisfying.

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Yes that is a ring which holds champagne/sparkling wine caps in. It’s a locket for your caps 🙌 If you haven’t come across Wearing Memories yet, definitely check them out. In fact, the pieces will make a great Christmas present 😉

So of course when I opened this bottle of Taltarni 2014 Brut and saw it had a unique cap, I was super excited 🙌

I recently received this sample from the Taltarni team (thank you!!) to help celebrate their new look. And I’m liking it!

This recently released Essence Sparkling Range from Taltarni is just in time for the festive 🎄 season. All 4 sparkling in the range are made in the Methodé Traditionelle method (like how champagne is made) and spends a minimum of 2 years on lees.

This brut 🍾 is made from 48% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 12% Pinot Meunier and spent 40 months on lees. Here’s our notes:

It’s a shimmering yellow gold in colour. On the nose it made me think of orchard fruits, pastry and vanilla. I was imaging danishes and vanilla slice when smelling it 😋 In the mouth it’s super smooth with such a beautiful mouthfeel. Well rounded, delicious and I loved the little hints of vanilla and juicy orange citrus. Tasty!
