Hands down my favorite of the 2011s. Paired it with a salad with goat cheese, hard boiled egg, apple braised sausage, caramelized onions and green apple with a herbes de Provence fig balsamic reduction. Main course a goat cheese creamy butter nut squash gnocchi. Went perfectly with the lighter but hearty salad, and brought out the earthy sweetness of the pasta.
