Rating after almost 2 days open/re-corked in cooler than cellar temp. Still going. Some of the warm cherry and strawberry fruit has dissipated. A big, savory, smokey Pinot Noir, like bacon and cherry broth. In a good way.

Little more forest floor and savory mushroom with sweet spice. Silky, round attack.

I suspect I could reassess my rating here over the next 48 hours. Big strapping lad with perhaps a touch too much oak influence. Built for the longhaul. Extreme quality with oodles of structure which should equalize in a few years.

Half bottle- 1st was flawed, 2nd is just delightful. A manly pinot- showing some slight but pleasant oxidative notes that accentuate the shoe leather, five spice and wild strawberry-rhubarb that makes this wine stand out. Each talisman really has its own personality! This one would be Clint Eastwood.

Strawberry and ripe red fruit on the nose leading to slightly cooked rhubarb and earth on the palate. Complex and a bit brooding- not a fruit bomb in the least bit

Earthy funk with stewed berries. After it opens, great stuff.
