If you haven’t heard of Talisman from WA’s Ferguson Valley, where have you been? These guys have been snapping up awards and popping up all over the show of late - it’s hard not to notice the delicious things they’re doing with their wines. I bumped into these guys at BeauVine last week and it’s safe to say this rosé of theirs is an absolute stunner!
The 2017 barrel fermented Cabernet based ‘Arida’ is a gorgeous peachy pink colour on the eye. Hints of nectarine, lemon, vanilla infused peach and a slight whiff of those pink smokers lollies come through for me. In the mouth it’s delicate yet flavoursome and oh so moreish. Those notes of nectarine and lemon with a hint of raspberry come through alongside a subtle lick of fresh mint on the finish. You need this rosé in your life - trust me! $20.

It's a blood orange colour on the eye with bright, fresh red fruits on the nose and a touch of mint and lemon zest. The palate reflects the nose with pronounced strawberry flavours. It's a fun, flirty and extremely thirst quenching rosé.
