Had a chance to have a glass with one of the owners, Alberto I think was his name. I really liked the earth on the nose and palette. A good Italian red wine. At 29.99 it’s higher than I normally pay but would enjoy with friends.

Intense and complex nose. Spiced cherries. Even at 7 yr (2008) this wine needed a while to open up. In the mouth adds plum. A firm acid base makes it food-friendly, but a little tough to just sip.
