Very nice. Showing quite well. Seamless but with the earth and leather that places it. Decanted for a couple hours and certainly improved. On the border between primary and secondary. Dark red fruit and excellent acid with slight dusty tannins and a long finish. Nice pairing with some simple red sauce pasta.

Oct 23rd, 2020Always nice to have a reminder of what a slightly older Brunello can be. Great pairing with pork chops with a lot of fennel. Might have guessed nebbiolo from the color, but the deep fruit and light dusty tannins really demonstrate what this is.

Terrific Brunello! Best when decanted for at least an hour & pairs well with meat & spices. A little tannic but opens up after it breathes. Another great pandemic wine!
