Tasted it blind and guessed Italian. I mean, that's probably bad news bears if you're trying to be a Pinot noir. HOWEVER, it's a Sonoma Pinot noir that tastes like an old world wine, so you get bonus points for that.

Oct 15th, 2017Balsamic on the nose, super savory. But of baking spice, and red fruit like cranberry preserves faintly....and a nice touch of vanilla oak. Ginger bread, vanilla and strawberry rhubarb pie on the palate...and some savory notes...and a nice red velvet cake sweetness once it's opened. Exceptional.
