Tahbilk
Old Vines Cabernet Shiraz
I saved this #sample I received to enjoy with my Dad. Here’s what he thought of it...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you Tahbilk, the 2015 Old Vines Cabernet Shiraz what a hit, tasted with a slow cooked beef pie. Pie had a polenta ball top and overall very rich which suited the wine to a tee. The wine rich in red colour ruby with a crimson edge in the light. My nose has never been great with the smell and I would lose any scent based competition but for me fresh picked berries with a green forest scent, quite light, the taste just raspberries that have ether been left to ferment or boiled for jam, simple but it cut The richness from the slow cooked beef, regardless I could drink this every day regardless of the year or the occasion.

All opinions are based on my Dad’s taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #winesample #tcweekdaywine
