Do I know what grapes are in this bottle? No. Do I know what year they were grown? No. Do I want to drink more of this, and maybe let it age for a while? Yes! This is a hearty, full-of-tannins, drink-with-food wine that is only going to get juicier as it settles down. Taft Street reserves their old-timey "garagiste" label for wines they personally dig, and this one measures up. It's probably a Rhône blend, but don't quote me on that.
