Tablas Creek Vineyard
Dianthus Paso Robles Mourvedre Blend Rosé
One of the more serious, deeper, and richer roses on the market. Right cherries and sweet plums.

Broad and pleasantly bracing acidity on the palate, just a touch of sweetness that wasn't perceived until having with food. A little hotter than I remember, and makes sense at 14.5 (!!)

Jul 14th, 2015Not quite as impressive as the patelin today but still incredibly nice.

Apr 12th, 2015Generally not much of a rosé fan - but this is delicious. Characteristic Mourvèdre flavor, Grenache depth, fruity and refreshing with great acidity. Went very well with cauliflower ravioli / lemon and grated Romano, even on this cool rainy San Francisco weekday night.
