4 years in the wine industry of California & France tasting my life away. Rhone lover. Old world wine. Unfined. Unfiltered. If I told u my new fave varietals we...
Ohlala! That twist of licorice on the bouquet I so dearly love that is rarely found. Hints of cedar. Soft raspberry on the palate, definitely lingers. Gorgeous!! Why have I ignored right bank Bordeaux? — 10 years ago
hmmm Pinot blanc. Ya this isn't it. Let's start off with wines we don't like right? I mean no one talks about the wines that miss the mark and 2 be honest i've had more wines I didn't like than ones I did. Hint of sweet vanillin oak on the bouquet. Scent of bubblegum. Strike one. Overall flabby. Pinot blanc in other regions like Alsace is amazing... Maybe not in Burgundy. I do get lime, grapefruit, and maybe kiwi. For $25 not gonna buy again. — 10 years ago
Fully integrated on the second nite. Silky tannins, blackberry and blueberry but the finish is a little too vanillin, would prefer smoky blueberry finish. Interesting to see how a 7 year old cab verdot from paso is. Better than expected. 68% cab, rest petite verdot — 9 years ago
This is the twin of #EricPfifferling of #L'anglore and his #carignan ohlala! I had meant to have his Grenache but accidentally bought his carignan for Christmas in #Paris. I remember the purity of it blew my mind. #Twinning! #DonkeyAndGoat bright flash of acidity, ripe red raspberries and cranberries. Excellent! I need another bottle! — 10 years ago
This is what all wines should be duh. Way to easy to drink, can't taste the alcohol ( which you shouldn't be able to taste the alcohol anyway). Silky smooth Grenache 😎😋. Only reason I didn't rate it higher is bc I know in a year or more it will be even more brilliant😍✨! — 9 years ago

So I wanted to try some very old carignan from Beziers bc what could be cooler than that!? 😏🙄. And Whole Foods said it was a foodie wine at $7.99. I'm reminded of how much I like Beaujolais from Fleurie while drinking this. Totally decent table wine with some Beziers garrigue and do I taste a twist of licorice? That shows promise... Got a lower rating not bc it's "not for me" but bc I feel like being snobbish. — 8 years ago
