Tablas Creek Vineyard
Adelaida District Vermentino

Bright golden color now that it has some age - this wine is mineral- and citrus-driven with lemon and grapefruit, wet stone and appealing acidity with just a bit of smoke (more flint perhaps) to round it out. Bracing with pan-seared swordfish.

Apr 6th, 2020I tasted the 2024 Vermentino with my flight at Tablas Creek and bought a bottle to take home. Lovely fruity wine, very drinkable. I generally don’t like whites with strong minerality but found this one to be very palatable!

Dry, savory, light body, bitter finish, citrus laced mineral flavor, bright with acidic finish. Fine drink for a sunny day.
