Got this because Doc Gold is our vet. Great guy. A soft & juicy Cab Sauv. Deep bright purple, medium aromas of black currents & a combo of both American & French oak. Low intensity of acids & soft tannins. Not a powerhouse Cab, but plush & ripe. good to drink now to 2015.

Had friends over who bought this wine at the vineyrd. Had tri tip which somewhat overpowered this smooth and tastey wine. Dark berry. Mild tannins. Nice creamy texture and easy to drink. Hints of licorice.

They say 2011 was a challenged year. Not here. Nice rich color. Berries. Tart cherry. I opened the bottle and let it sit for a couple of hours. Opened up nicely. Ready to go. T vines never disappoints.

Soft Jamminess to start with a moderate red mouth feel. Descends into a light spice of peppers, tannins, and acid (all light). You can taste a woodiness too from aging, but it is subtle and finishes nice

Dec 21st, 2015Just received shipment and very pleased as this cab presents in classic form, but expecting bigger and badder beauty, quality, etc. as it recovers from travel shock and gets accustomed to its groovy coastal NC place in the sun. Last supper at Hookseas House. More later...!
