Pleasant surprise found tonite, again, from the dark corners of the cellar. This baby provides your nose with blue fruit and violets upon opening but segues into blue fruits overlayed with classic Syrah-like meaty funk but without the Syrah. This is mostly Tempranillo and Malbec! Another scent geek wine. However the aromas are a bit deceptive given the medium weight mouthfeel. But still rewarding with blue fruits framed by a nice acid lift. At peak for sure but really enjoyable. An excellent Walla Walla winery to seek out.
