Pretty light red color with thin legs. Faint cherry and raspberry on the nose. Juicy red, sweet cherries and very smooth tannins as far as the last goes. Shorter finish than I was expecting, it definitely gets better with a bit of breathing.

It was my first Portuguese wine, it was good, great wine for the value and smooth drinkability. It was underwhelming however, I would count out Portuguese wines!

2013. Big jammy nose, almost like a cherry pie with a hint of vanilla. Definite spiciness on the palate with that jammy berry flavor coming through, but it's the spice that lingers. Medium/low acid and very smooth. Yum! Flight at Seasons 52.

The best Portuguese red wine I've had in ages, after spending a week in Porto Portugal the home of Port I tried many's of red wines and this was by far my favourite, must try for anyone wanting to taste what Portugal has to offer.
