California Merlot

Dark ruby in color with a purple rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, plums, cherries, chocolates, smoke, fake oak, cloves and light black pepper.

Full bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, currants, bitter herbs, light vegetables, vanilla, wood, spices, peppercorn and chocolates.

Short finish with soft tannins and peppercorn.

This is a simple Merlot from California. Drinkable and balanced with a tangy ending. Good by itself or with food.

Tastes a little "fake", but not undrinkable, and was good for my happy hour wine, nothing more.

I paired it with a cheese plate, nuts and crackers.

13% alcohol by volume.

Lici and I like. Strong flavor. Full bodied.

Decent Merlot. Good effort for the price.

A fantastic Merlot. Bright and vibrant. Full of life and flavour pops. Not unlike an 80s pop song. Fun and happy.

Smooth - had this at the club

Smooth, sight alcohol flavor, but very drinkable.

Breathtaking aroma. Taste is ok too. But seriously forks, tastes plummy, velvety, and other good descriptive Merlot words.
