Constantly evolving in the glass and showing a vibrant bouquet with tropical fruits and lime complicated by notes of ash, crushed stone, hints of floral undergrowth and whole butter. On the palate it displayed notable weight and textural richness as ripe citrus, apple and young peach were contrasted by notes of spice and cleansing acidity. The finish was fresh with lingering herbal tones and lemon peel twang.

Dry. Peach nose. Botyris Stone fruit orange zest apricot plenty of acid fully mature. Sadly last bottle from my cellar. Best wine of the line up which included Rebholz and Fröhlich GG‘s. This is a classic example for an aged Riesling it rarely gets better than this.

Aug 11th, 2018Great as always. Orange zest and quince slightly bitter. Bought at Third Corner in Encinitas it's still available a steal at 37$ for this quality.

Jan 27th, 2017Beautiful Riesling has petrol notes but also lemon zest slightly bitter. Needs air and was better the next day! Very good I understand why Jancis Robinson likes this producer. Not super stellar but good. Had another bottle this is quite amazing. It is really very high quality for a reasonable prize! Will adjust the rating.
