Jul 4th, 2017Dark purple, almost black on the eye. Nose sees oak, cooked cherries and blackberries. Palette sees oak, stems, brambles, lots of tannins. Your mouth/teeth will be black after drinking this. A good wine, but missing complexity in palette and finish and relatively harsh for a blend. Lots of time left in the bottle- recommend letting this one sit for a few more years.
