Dark purple with rim variation moving toward fuchsia/white. High viscosity, medium+ alcohol, high staining- your mouth and teeth will be black. Nose sees nail polish remover, subtle ripe red fruit, oak. Palette is firey with the high alcohol, medium+ round tannins, dark, stewed cherries, strawberries. Medium finish with a good deal of body but moderate complexity. Lots of age left in this one- let it sit for a few more years. If you do open now, be sure to wait a few hours before drinking as it evens out over time, even better the second day.

Aromas of blackberry and currant. Dense fruit. Masculine structure. Framed acidity lends to an extended drinking window, but is showing beautifully now.
