Citrus peel and some flowery notes on the nose. Bright acidity that doesn't meld completely with the oak treatment. Should probably be cellared longer.

Nose of flint, roasted nuts. Grapefuit, meyer lemon, melon rind and dust. Really complex and wonderfully executed

Not my style of #torrontes The grape is already quite low in acid and this being #barrelfermented does not help give the wine any lift. Nothing unpleasant but nothing exciting. #susanabalbo #argentina #ctbucklinwine

I guess I'm just used to the pure fruit aspect in traditional Torrontes ( no oak) this is very ripe and can handle the oak fermentation (3 months) medium toast French barrels. Probably barriques. Although the bright crisp rounded flavors of non oak is better.

Bright golden color. Aromas of stone and tropical fruits along with fresh herbs, wet stones and fresh cut grass. Flavors of ripe peaches, mango, pineapple and lychee fruit. Distinct mineral, saline and citrus notes on the long finish. Creamy texture and low acidity. Very interesting expression of the varietal. Well crafted, balanced and elegant.

I like it, but the reduction note is a tad overpowering.

Powerfully floral on an unexpectedly light, chalky, linear background. Pure and with deceptive power, this is wow for the $$ and so different...Riesling meets Chablis in a dry place.

Barrel ferment is obvious for this torrontes. Light notes of petrol on the nose but torrontes on the palate.
