Medium purple colour. Youthful expressive nose displaying ripe red fruits aromas of red currant, strawberry and red cherry, some black fruit such as dark plums and spicy notes of white pepper and hints of liquorice. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has ripe soft and rounded tannins and a high well-integrated alcohol. It has a medium+ body and pronounced intensity flavours with a long finish. It is a very good quality wine. It has a lingering finish and loads of juicy fruit concentration that supports the alcohol level. However a better example of this style would show more aromatic complexity. Can drink now, but it has some tannic structure and enough fruit concentration to be kept for 1-2 years, and maybe develop some tertiary notes.
