Medium minus aromatic intensity. Ripe cherry and earth on the nose. Medium body and tannins. Alcohol and acidity are moderate (marginally plus). Not terribly complex. Some minerality. Would prefer an Oregon, New Zealand or entry level Burgundy at this price. Would make a great house wine by the glass.

Very impressed by this BC State store pull; very easy drinking, and yet shows a slight herbaceousness (positively) with solid tannins. I actually expect it's at the early period of the drinking window, and is very cellarable.
