Not a very exciting wine. Nice, but nothing special. Lots of fig jam and earth. Some dried fruits. Really reserved wine even after decanting. Decent tannin but a bit flabby for my taste. ... Had another glass a couple days later, and the wine grew on me. The acid really came out this time, and the wine was more open with lots more black fruit while maintaining that leather and smoked meat backdrop.
