Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of blackberry jam, blueberry jam, black cherry, pomegranate, earth, anise, clove; dry, medium plus acid, ripe medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; very ripe but with structure to balance somewhat

Deep ruby. Perfumed nose. Rose pedals and lavender. Lingering rose on the tastebuds. Tannins gave structure. Candied strawberry with dark chocolate.

Blackberry and dark raspberry. Cocoa powder and a dash of white pepper.

2/2020. Good cab. Paired well with short ribs and pot roast.

I mean it’s pretty smooth for a rich persons wine. I earned this from a wine cellar in a house on a golf course and it was worth it.

Plenty of ripe dark fruit here - ✅ qpr for this excellent Alex Cab. A little air helped but this rounded package didn’t need much assistance.
