This lady is fading a bit and a definite Drink Up is strongly recommended. That said, wet straw (perhaps all in the mind) and ripened peaches still make for a pleasurable aperitif. As a pairing, serve it with a light asparagus salad w/citrus champagne vinegar. I did. Absolutely worked.
