This definitely needed to open up. Upon first taste it was questionable. But then it was after we had the Francis Coppola Merlot.
After it opened up … much better.

May 16th, 2023I love blends like this! 2/3 of the grapes here are almost always used in tiny amounts with major grapes, but rarely blended with each other. This one had beautiful floral aromas, with some cranberry and pomegranate. On the palate, raspberry, strawberry, and cherry flavors pop out. Great pairing with a Thanksgiving-in-February turkey dinner. 56% Cinsault, 29% Syrah, 15% Carignan. 2/20/22.
