This particular bottle had wine seepage through the cork. Possible heat damage as the cork was slightly bulged out. Overall impression was decent for its age. Lots of earth and spice character but no more fruit. A subtle Brett undertone as well which added complexity to the old fellow. Would be nice to try an u compromised bottle. 1998 Vintage

Loved this from the first bottle, looking at the last 2 left from this case and they're still drinking like a beautiful old Cabernet but it's time to finish these beauties before they're past their prime.
