Beautiful cab from Stonestreet, dark and deep garnet colors with wafting aromatics of cassis, leather, dark chocolate, coffee, and jam. High in tannins and medium high acidity. Beautiful and complex flavors. Vanilla and blackberry, cocoa powder, graphite, and dark cherries. There is some spice too, like cloves and pepper. Great long finish. Holds up nicely next to the Christopher’s vineyard.

Monument Ridge 2010, decanted as a backup to Caymus 3 liter. Shockingly good. Plum and other black fruits. Soft tannins in mouth.. Great mouth feel. You must try !!

Nov 24th, 2014We bought this bottle on our first trip to Stonestreet in 2013. WOW!! Laying it down for 6 years was well worth the wait! Black cherry and cloves with just a hint of leather on the nose. Incredibly smooth with luscious dark fruit and mineral finish.
