It was good, but light for a Syrah. The nose was decent, but a bit underwhelming. The flavor was nice, but a bit generic. It did carry the spice and pucker factor I would expect from a Syrah on the back end - lacked the front end drinking experience I would hope for. I'd drink it again albeit with tempered expectations.

A brooding dark red, the '10 Stolpman Syrah 'Estate Grown' perfumes the nose with ripe blackberry, licorice, burnt rubber and baking spices. The dark fruit flavors are enhanced with mocha and cedar notes. The long peppery finish has assertive grippy tannins. This needs a few more years.
