Well its 2016 and time for wine! I looked. hard and long for a 2004 cab and found this one down in the cellar. It is a 2004 cabernet Sauvignon by Sterling Vineyards. Its their Reserve. I am opening the bottle and the cork breaks into many pieces. Thus I had to filter it. Nevertheless, the pour was good. The color is dark and purple. The bouquet reminds me of grape jam and blueberries. The legs are long and slow to fall. The initial palate is red raspberry and spice. There is no zing and the finish is bla! It is dry and Im looking for water. I am very disappointed! As a previous review stated, its way past its prime. However, there is no after taste or acidic finish. Im glad there was no sweet plummy aroma nor taste. For the price, its a bad choice.

An older group of pretty older ladies at Taps (A mother, a daughter and an aunt) were sitting at a table and drinking red wine. I commented on how the color looked like it would be very good so she offered me a taste and poured me a glass.
