This pink vixen is the new 2017 Skittlebutt Rosé from Stella Bella in Margaret River. I loved the line on the back of the bottle "it is the perfect wine to Rosé the day away". If only I could Rosé the day away every day! This vino sells for approximately $18 a bottle and is made from 93% Shiraz and 7% Tempranillo.
It's a candied pinky-red on the eye with a mixture of red and blackberry lollies, lemon citrus and floral notes on the nose. In the mouth it's juicy and dry yet with a definite fruit sweetness that reminds me of The Natural Confectionary Company snakes! Particularly the orange 🍊 ones! It ends with a nice mouth-watering acidity kick of grapefruit.
