Oak blows off after being open for a while. Floral nose, such as lilac and rose pedal. Stewed strawberry and cranberry. Tannic but approachable.

Soft oak, overripe cherry, hints of tobacco and brown sugar on the nose. Cherry tart, with a bitter midpalate, but turns the corner and finishes with vanilla bean sweetness.
