First of the reds from Steele Wines. Dark ruby red right out of the bottle. Tight nose to start with some notes of dirty cellar, red cherries and dark cocoa. Lots of red cherries on the palate with some woody undertones. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) with a medium bodied dry finish. Overall an approachable young Petite Sirah. Drink till 2021.
