Yummy, full but not overpowering. Smooth, not chalky. I think I actually hallucinated while drinking this wine and hallucinated that I was standing in the vineyard where it was made. — 5 years ago

It is simply amazing how well this wine has held up for 20 years considering it’s a Zinfandel. There is still plenty of fruit and structure. Some of the fruit is muted, but the color was on point and still pretty clear. — 6 years ago

Well first off the was the 2012 vintage Syrah not merlot. Its a decent wine, good body. Dry finish. The original price I believe is 38 dollars and for that price there are other alternative wines that provide more of an experience. However, if there you can find this wine for the mid 20 dollar range it would be very good price and well worth the money. — 4 years ago
