Despite a high level of acidity this is classic grenache in many ways - medium ruby color, strawberry and other red fruit flavors and aromas and a nice bit of peppery baking spice. My only misgiving is the rather blatant oak that slightly obscures the medium bodied fruit. Still, with that vibrant acidity it's a terrific wine for roast chicken, Moroccan food and much more. 13.8% abv

With red berry and baking spice aromas, this light- to medium-bodied wine has a peppery finish.

2012 Writer's Block GRENACHE with served with Indian lamb dish for lunch. Yummy, strawberry fruit flavors. Bright and fresh. Nice now but will age gracefully over next 2-4 years
