A blend of 91% Cab Sauv, 4% Merlot, 3.5% Malbec & 1.5% Petit Verdot, aged in 50% new French oak for 20 months. Deep Ruby with purple edges, aromas of dark fruits, oak and cigar-box spice. On the palate flavors of plum, blackberry, currants, cacao and tobacco. Full-bodied, fine smooth tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, spice, cacao and oak, very pleasant. Just starting to drink well, plenty of room to age!! Very Nice!

My favorite of the Stags’ Leap porch tasting. Although no petite sirah (which they are known for). Silky & complex.
