Opaque and brooding. Aromas of red and black fruit, cedar, coffee, and spice. More of the same on the palate, with dusty tannins, mineral, excellent acid and a finish that does not quit. I would probably score this higher, but it's too young (which is really my fault for not being patient). A magnificent example of the elegance of the appellation, this wine definitely has aging potential. Thanks Mike!
