Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Inky in color with a purplish rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, figs, raisins, dried fruits, sweet cherry pie, vanilla, cedar, leather, earth, light vegetables, chocolates, espresso, tobacco, licorice, spices and peppercorn.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth and black tea.

Long finish with firm tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a great Petite Sirah from Napa. Well balanced with great complexity, big and bold with a great mouthfeel. The tangy ending makes it more interesting.

Would benefit from a few more years in the bottle. Good by itself or with food like a big piece of steak. Needs a couple of hours to open up properly.

This is one for long term aging at a good price.

91 points Robert Parker.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of Meats and cheeses.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$35.

Jammy fruit aromas framed with chalk and violet notes. Drying tannins with a fairly short finish.

I don’t really ever drink Sirah. It’s pretty good. Mild flavor. Was watching Rocky IV while drinking this, which might’ve had something to do with it if you know what I mean.
